Featured In Four News Outlets
We are excited to share that a recent Orange County Recovers project completed by our Orlando team was featured in four separate news articles, highlighting the life-changing impact of disaster recovery and housing restoration efforts in the community.
Nearly three years after Hurricane Ian, homeowner Lorenzo Turner was finally able to walk through the doors of his newly rebuilt home. Our team had the privilege of constructing Mr. Turner’s home as part of the Orange County Recovers Program, helping transform a property that had been severely impacted by the storm into a safe, beautiful, and fully restored place to call home. The project stands as an example of what can be achieved through strong partnerships, dedicated professionals, and a shared commitment to helping residents recover and rebuild.
The media coverage focused not only on the completion of the home but also on the emotional moment Mr. Turner saw the finished result for the first time. His reaction captured the significance of the work and the difference it can make in someone's life: “It looks like a million-dollar house… I feel like I hit the lottery.”
We could not be prouder of our Orlando team for the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication they brought to this project from start to finish. Their hard work helped create more than just a rebuilt house—it helped restore stability, peace of mind, and hope for a homeowner who had waited years to return to normalcy.
Being recognized in four news outlets is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the meaningful work our teams perform every day. We are grateful to be part of programs like Orange County Recovers that make a lasting impact on families and communities, and we look forward to continuing to help residents rebuild and recover when they need it most.
