Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Round 2.2 Harris County Disaster Recovery Housing Program

After DSW’s success in the H-GAC Disaster Recovery Housing Programs in Chambers County, Texas, we applied for and were awarded a contract for the H-GAC Round 2.2 Harris County Disaster Recovery Housing Program. This program provided a variety of services (rehabilitation, reconstruction, elevation, demolition, etc.) to qualified homeowners in the Harris County area.

In conjunction with H-GAC and the Texas General Land Office, we anticipate working with approximately 40 households to make repairs or replace their housing that was damaged by Hurricane Ike which made landfall in September of 2008.
