Donald Gerratt is a highly accomplished construction executive with more than 25 years of experience leading large-scale residential construction, disaster recovery, and federally funded housing programs. As Chief Executive Officer of DSW Homes, LLC, he provides strategic leadership and executive oversight for the company’s operations, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, responsibly, and in alignment with client objectives. Throughout his career, Mr. Gerratt has overseen more than $1 billion in HUD- and FEMA-funded contracts, establishing a proven record of success in program management, risk mitigation, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and accelerated project delivery.

Mr. Gerratt works closely with clients, stakeholders, and project leadership teams to develop and implement construction strategies that maximize efficiency, control costs, and maintain the highest standards of quality. His extensive experience managing complex disaster recovery and reconstruction programs provides clients with confidence that projects will be executed with a strong focus on accountability, fiscal responsibility, and operational excellence.

Since assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2021, Mr. Gerratt has guided the financial, administrative, and customer relations success of DSW Homes while helping drive significant organizational growth and innovation. He has been instrumental in developing construction processes that generate meaningful cost savings and schedule efficiencies for clients, while leading the company's expansion into innovative construction methods. Under his leadership, DSW Homes has achieved substantial growth, with average annual revenue increases exceeding 97 percent over a three-year period.

Prior to serving as CEO, Mr. Gerratt was the Chief Operating Officer of DSW Homes from 2010 to 2021, where he successfully led more than 50 disaster recovery programs across the nation. He directed operations from mobilization through closeout, consistently exceeding program objectives by reducing construction timelines while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and safety. He also developed proprietary construction management software specifically designed to improve efficiency and oversight of scattered-site disaster recovery reconstruction projects.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Gerratt held executive leadership positions with Crescent Homes and Brentwood Homes, overseeing operations, profitability, customer satisfaction, construction quality, and organizational growth. His broad background across production, operations, and executive management has given him a comprehensive understanding of all phases of residential construction and program delivery.
