DSW has extensive experience deploying and managing manufactured homes, travel trailers, and recreational vehicles for temporary housing missions. Our services include:
Transportation and installation of temporary housing units at individual home sites, group sites, and community locations.
Utility coordination and connections, including electric, water, and sewer services.
Ongoing inspections, maintenance, and repairs to keep units safe, functional, and compliant.
Deactivation, removal, and site restoration once occupants transition to permanent housing.
Relevant Experience
DSW served as the primary contractor for the Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) Travel Trailer Maintenance and Repair Program following Hurricane Ida. Over a two-year period, DSW serviced and maintained more than 1,000 travel trailers across the hardest-hit parishes, helping ensure displaced residents had access to safe and dependable temporary housing.
DSW also holds a pre-positioned contract with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety and North Carolina Emergency Management to provide statewide haul, installation, and servicing of travel trailers and recreational vehicles on an as-needed basis through 2028.
In addition to these efforts, DSW has extensive nationwide experience procuring, transporting, installing, maintaining, and removing temporary housing units. Our capabilities include utility installation and repair, HVAC and appliance maintenance, plumbing and electrical services, accessibility modifications, re-leveling and re-blocking, and a wide range of interior and exterior repairs required to keep temporary housing units operational throughout their occupancy.

Louisiana PMIR Program
As part of the Louisiana PMIR Program, we provided temporary housing solutions for families displaced while their homes were repaired or rebuilt. Our team deployed and managed temporary housing trailers, ensuring residents had safe, secure, and comfortable accommodations.
From placement and maintenance to on-going support, we helped keep families close to their communities while recovery and reconstruction were underway.
