In 2017, DSW Homes was selected by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity to support residential recovery efforts through HUD Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery funding. Following the devastation of Hurricane Irma, DSW provided rehabilitation and reconstruction services for single-family and multi-family residential structures in compliance with local, state, federal, and program requirements.

DSW’s proven performance, construction expertise, and commitment to quality positioned the company as a trusted recovery partner, leading to continued work under the contract for Hurricane Michael recovery efforts in 2018. Since commencing its involvement, DSW Homes has remained dedicated to helping Florida communities rebuild stronger, safer, and more resilient homes.
