Lee County
Following the devastating impacts of Hurricane Ian in 2022 and Hurricane Helene in 2024, Lee County launched the Lee Cares Housing Recovery Program to support the rehabilitation and reconstruction of owner-occupied homes for disaster-impacted residents.
DSW Homes joined the program in 2024 and has since played an active role in helping families rebuild safe, resilient housing across Lee County. Through the program, DSW has completed or is currently constructing 63 residential units, with approximately $10.2 million in executed contract value.
With additional work orders anticipated, DSW expects to remain active in the program through late 2027, with projected contract values reaching approximately $42 million. This ongoing work reflects DSW’s proven ability to deliver high-quality, HUD-funded disaster recovery construction services with efficiency, compliance, and care.
